You lose because you use the word socialism in every other sentence and don’t realize that the word has come to symbolize your ignorance. You lose because you think making an insurance company cover birth control is the same thing as a government handout. You lose because you let Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, and Glenn Beck be your mouthpieces. You lose because you can’t tell the difference between a working Latino and an Illegal. You lose because you let your political leaders trivialize rape. You lose because you think that someone else’s marriage has something to do with your own. And you’ll lose again because you think that doubling down on your rhetoric and turning up the volume on selfishness is more important than listening to the needs of people you refuse to make any attempt to identify with.
Two Questions Fox News and their ilk really should be asking themselves, but can’t emotionally afford to.
1) Is our 24/7 vitriol toward the President of the United States and our constant campaign of misinformation such a turn off to the American people that it contributed to this devastating Republican loss?
2) Does this mean that the philosophy behind our neocon opinion driven broadcast is completely fucking irrelevant?
Ok. You can tell that you’re a Political Junkie when you start watching Senate Debates from other States. However, this is one of the most important Senate races in the 2012 November Election, and Elizabeth Warren would make an extraordinary Senator. Hopefully voters in Massachusetts can see through the haze of bullshit coming from the GOP.
