Some people might not realize when they’ve been punked, but I know a comedy when I see it. Goddamn, I haven’t laughed that hard at an ending in a long while.
The premise of The Woman is completely retarded, but I don’t feel much like faulting the film just because it makes no fucking sense. It’s just so goddamn casual about being absurd which makes it fun as hell. If if weren’t for all the terrible music this film might have that weird family vibe that Bob Balaban’s “Parents” had.
